Adding internal/external links and files to your wiki:

Links: Adding links to your wiki can give students quick access to further information without being a distraction
  • Internal Links - links back to other parts of your wiki
    • To embed a video instead of just providing a link to a video, revisit Part 3 - Video and Widgets
    • Adding internal links is quite easy
  • External Links - links to other websites and information
    • Adding an external link is just the same
    • If you want students to visit the American Chemical Society Webpage, you can simply provide a link to the ACS
      • You can have the wiki open up in a new window for ease of returning, or the same window as above
  • Redirecting Pages - one the left-hand toolbar, the page links can be directed back to other places (like another wiki or school webpage)
    • To redirect your pages, revisit the "Manage Wiki" tab and find "Pages"
    • Once there you can select, "rename" or "redirect" as you scroll over each page
    • When you redirect you must provide the exact page name and wiki you would like to redirect to

Files: Adding files to your wiki is very easy, formatting them once their on is not
